Beschreibung
To unlock the power of existing finding aids in archives, an informal group of interest around Linked Data (LD) has formed in Switzerland mid 2014. Archival practitioners of five public archives on state and municipal level and the Swiss federal archives met in a grassroots initiative to find a suitable approach to identify the potential of this technology. This initiate was given the name of Archival Linked Open Data A-LOD.
